About Me

Hi! I am Surja Sanyal, currently working as a Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India, and Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, India, under the supervision of Dr. Manas Khatua, and Dr. Pratik Chattopadhyay, respectively, on using Machine Learning / Deep Learning methods for the detection of internal and external threats in Industrial IoT networks. Prior to this, I had received my M.Tech. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India, under the supervision of Dr. Sajal Mukhopadhyay. During my M.Tech., I worked on Game theory based solutions for better surplus food distribution.

My current research interests include Machine Learning (ML) / Deep Learning (DL) based security for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) networks and the application of Game Theory (GT) in interactive social setups.
